The Kernel Source Archive aims to create a permanent archive of as many open source operating system kernels and pieces of related software as is reasonably possible.
To collate this archive, we need your help! Many older software releases are no longer available on the Internet, but we don't doubt that they exist.
First and foremost, if you have (and are licensed to distribute) a version of a project in the archive that we don't have, please get in contact with us so that it can be added.
Second, if you possess an operating system kernel that isn't included here and is of particular historical interest, please let us know. Note that mainstream kernels (Linux, FreeBSD, and so on) aren't a priority at the moment because they're widely available from many sources. Eventually, such kernels will also be included in the archive too.
We're especially interested in versions of the less widely-distributed kernels (such as OSF Mach and MkLinux), and kernels from non-x86 operating systems.
